Taxes, Fees, & Fine Print

Taxes

Rates are per-unit, per-night and all rates are subject to the current Wisconsin State sales tax of 5.5%.

Deposit

A 50% deposit is charged to your card when making your reservation. This deposit is refundable up to 72 hours in advance with a $10 cancelation fee.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled between date of booking and 72 hours from date of arrival will forfeit a $10.00 cancellation fee that will be charged to the authorized credit card. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival forfeit the entire amount of the reserved hotel stay which will be charged to the authorized credit card. No refund for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or downgrades.

Minimum Stay

50% of our rooms have a 2-night minimum and the other 50% have a 3-night minimum. Due to the size of the venue and the anticipated size of the event, we cannot accommodate single night stays.

TDIFest is a three-day event, and most of our attendees choose to stay for all three days. We understand if your schedule or budget doesn't permit you to take this long of a vacation. If that's the case, we recommend arriving on Saturday morning for activities, and staying at the hotel on Saturday and Sunday nights.

☞ NOTE: If you plan on staying for two nights, please reserve early, as this option will disappear if it sells out.

Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed inside the resort with the exception of a limited number of pet-friendly rooms. Pets are welcome on the property and in TDIFest areas of the parking lot. A cleaning fee may be assessed to individuals who do not honor the pet policy.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public building. All indoor areas of the hotel and conference center are non-smoking. You may smoke on your balcony/deck and on the property grounds. Please be respectful and dispose of smoking materials in trash cans and ashtrays.

Local Attractions & Activities

We have put together a Google Map of the Sturgeon Bay area with local attractions listed on it.

Situated in the thumb of Wisconsin between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, Door County, Wisconsin has a lot to offer, and many refer to it as the Nantucket of the midwest. For a complete list of adventures and activities, please visit http://www.doorcounty.com/discover/

Other must-see items while you're in town include…

If you're coming from the east, we highly recommend considering taking the SS Badger car ferry from Ludington, MI to Manitowoc, WI. This four hour, 60 mile trip across Lake Michigan avoids Chicago traffic and gives you an authentic steam ship experience. https://www.ssbadger.com for information and tickets.

Volunteer Positions

TDIFest wouldn't be able to happen without a number of on-site volunteers. For a list of volunteer positions and more information on helping to make TDIFest a success, please stay tuned!
